Meet Iroh – Stallion Standing at Stud (Spring 2026)
For us, Iroh (pronounced eye-row) was a stallion worth the wait to get. With every passing day, we continue to be impressed by this young Fjord’s exceptional temperament, striking presence, and unwavering work ethic. Athletic, expressive, and kind, he brings together the best of his lineage in both type and personality. He is respectful, well-mannered around mares, and easy to handle. He is proven, with his first foal now on the ground. Iroh is a true representative of what the Fjord breed is all about.
Pedigree That Performs
Iroh is by Skyview Henry, a notable import (in utero from Norway) bred by Tim Hamlett and raised by Theresa Slepicka. Evaluated by the NFHR as a three-year-old, Henry stood out as the youngest stallion in his group- and the only one awarded blue. He scored an impressive 80% in conformation and movement. Henry is the son of Hermann, who was sired by the renowned Saethersblakken- a prominent figure in both European and North American Fjord breeding.
Henry did not have a large progeny in North America according to the registry. Iroh is one of the last of Henry's line before he passed and is the only breeding stallion from all of his offspring. This is one reason we are so thrilled to have his son for breeding. Iroh carries the "old blood" that embodies all the elements that give Fjords their reputation. He may be riding the coattails of his exceptional sire, but Iroh is sure to garner accomplishments of his own as he matures.

On the dam side, Iroh is out of Shome Gwendolyn, a feminine, mid-boned working mare known for her sweet nature, expressive eye and quiet confidence- traits we already see reflected in Iroh.
